PROJECT: BRAND, WEB, STRATEGY
For the past 25 years, the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA) has hosted an annual electric vehicle education event called ElectraFest. It is Vancouver’s only electric mobility and renewable tech event. And year after year it draws more interest. With alternative fuel sources gaining traction, interest in ElectraFest has skyrocketed too. VEVA came to us to rebrand the event to align with its future-forward optimism.

This two-year, phased project started in 2019 with a new logo, colour palette, and signature brand shapes. Our challenge was to create a brand design that had longevity and felt future-forward no matter what year the event was being held.
We created a minimalist, bold, and bright brand that was compelling, trustworthy, and action-packed. The logo design incorporates the exact type of forward momentum that the event is pushing for and the bright, playful colour palette supports that as well.
With the brand foundation in place, we designed some supportive materials to aid event promotion: a social media strategy, sponsorship kit layout, event marketing collateral, and an event landing page design that shone a bright light on ElectraFest. Like it deserved.
