PROJECT: BRAND, WEB, STRATEGY, PRINT
Arnie came to us with a rough copy of his first book and a dream to bundle his lifetime of changing other people’s lives into a business and a brand that would be uniquely him. And boy, is Arnie unique (in the best way possible). Our challenge with this project was to create a brand design that both resonated with Arnie’s target client—the middle-aged woman with money to spend who is seeking spiritual guidance to find herself—and that also encapsulated the magic of Arnie—which isn’t an easy thing to bottle up.

We designed Arnie a simple, signature-inspired logo that feels both personal and professional. We coupled the logo design with a rustic and inviting colour palette that’s true to Arnie’s personal aesthetic and the experience of working with him. It was important to us to fuse Arnie’s personality into all aspects of the brand design without alienating his feminine audience. Pairing a simple script-based logo with a fall-inspired colour palette achieved just that.
To contrast these design elements, we created a typographic system that’s professional and impactful—it guides the eye naturally through large sections of content. We also provided guidance to Arnie’s photographer to ensure his brand design was carried through in photos and that his target audience would be represented.
With the brand intact, we designed a custom website, Instagram templates, business cards, event marketing collateral, and most importantly, Arnie’s first book, Befriending Your Stranger. Learn more about Arnie and check out our web design here.
